I copied the following from my Mother's blog. I thought it was good and wanted to share:
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE UNASHAMED
I am a part of the Fellowship of the Unashamed.
I have the Holy Spirit Power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made.
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure.
I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded.
I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.
My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear.
I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won't give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes.
And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear for "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.." (Romans 1:16)

What have I been up to?
As always things are going busy.
Chuch has been going really great. We have a full band now and a drummer that plays electric drums. They really are AWESOME!...and he is a great player.
God has been really showing me some things lately and has really been changing me. It's not always easy but it is for the better of course.
My birthday was September 19th. I am 28 years old now. I celebrated by going out to a few places to eat with different friends starting on Tuesday of last week and ended with buying me my birthday present yesterday with the money I received for my birthday. I went and bought two planters from a place in Thorsby. They are very nice and solid concrete, stained a rustic brown color. I have been working on the left side of my yard. It is coming together very nicely. Since we got the second driveway poured and a patio area, I wanted to really do something to that side. A little bit at a time. If you live close by you should come and see it. I should get some mums planted in the pots today so I will take a picture and post on the blog.
There was a wedding at the church this weekend so I spent Friday evening and Saturday there to besure everything ran smoothly. (F.Y.I...I am the wedding coordinator for the church and Jennifer helps me when she does not have volleyball...which is never....but I love her anyway!!!)It was a nice wedding and everything did run smoothly. Then I set the stage back up for Sunday and headed home.
The Calera Chamber of Commerce has really been keeping me busy. We have alot going on during these next few months so I will continue to stay busy. But "busy" is my middle name and I really wouldn't know what to do if I didn't stay busy.
If you live in the area and would like to volunteer your time for the Policeman/Fireman Appreciation Picnic that is coming up in October please contact me. It is for the families of the Calera police and fire ONLY but if you volunteer "you" will of course be able to eat the BBQ served, etc.
The Calera Christmas parade will be Dec. 1st. We also need volunteers for that. I know a couple of people helped with me last year and I hope you will be able to help again. Contact me if so. As a Chamber member the Christmas parade is one of the funtions that is my responsibility.
Our busy season at work is picking up. Alot of people use Seasoning during this Season and that is what we do best. So if I do not post as much that is why. When I leave here I do not normally get on the computer at home; 8 hours a day is enough for me.

Friday
I think I really like this "4 day" work week. Having Mondays off period is a good thing.
I'm hoping the weather will start cooling off some. I can't stand the heat much longer. I like it where the high is 75 and the low is 65...everyday!!!
This past weekend I got up Saturday morning to go for a bike ride. I walked out on the deck with my cup of coffee and there was a tree that had fallen in the back yard. A BIG tree. When it fell it crushed our storage shed. (I would have posted pictures but the wife had left the camera at school and I wasn't going to wait until she was able to get it and then clean up.) There is still some of the tree in the wooded part of the property but it will get all cleaned up in due time. As the saying goes, "You can't eat an elephant in a day."
I went bike riding after I went and purchased a new shed and after the ride I spent the rest of the day sawing away and dragging to the street.
An Update about riding: I will not be doing the MS ride in Memphis next weekend. The group I was going with changed to the ride taking place in Orange beach at the end of this month and I can't make that one. Along with short notice it is the end of the month and quarter here at work so I know it can't happen. Maybe next time.
I am going to do a 65 mile ride in the morning. We are meeting at 5:30am and then be on the road by 6am. I know, I know...CRAZY!!!!!!!! I do wonder why I do it at times while I am riding but afterwards it is all worth it and it helps me sleep good. (basicly because I am wore-out)
That's about it for now. It is 12:05 this friday afternoon. I am thinking about leaving work early....Hum???? Maybe by 1:30. I would like to cut the grass today and do some things outside and not wait until after I get off to do it.
Until again...

Monday Funny!!!
A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to
Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker
told the husband, "You can have her shipped home for $5,000, or you can
bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150." The man thought about it
and told him he would just have her shipped home.
The undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000 to
ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and
you would spend only $150?"
The man replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried
here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can't take

Vision...
The bible says that, "Without vision the people perish."
This week T.D. Jakes has been speaking on "VISION: I Can See Clearly Now!" Today was the same and he spoke about having Faith with the Vision.
I love the way God knows what you need to hear when you need to hear it. Jakes continued to talk about having a vision statement for yourself and your business.
I started on one today for our home.
The bible also says that, "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord..." Though he knows the plans, we should each have a "vision plan" for ourselves, familes, business, etc. As long as we are seeking and serving him he will reveal the way for us. As long as we are walking in the light and not darkness he will show us the path to take. Very rare will we receive the "audible" voice of God but it is the peace that we have about what we are asking.
What is your Vision statement...

I am sad!!!
Paula White & Randy White to Divorce:
From tbo.com:
The announcement: Randy called Paula to the podium about an hour into the service. He was somber; Paula appeared choked up. "It's the most difficult decision I've ever had to make in my entire life," he told the congregation, describing Paula as an exceptional woman, mother and preacher.
(His career and her career and the different directions they are going is said to be the main reason why they are divorcing.)
From my mouth:
This hurts to hear really bad. I know that just because they are pastors and in the public eyes does not mean that they are above "life" effecting them.
I am not behind the walls of their house and cannot say what has taken place in their private lives but if the "ONLY" reason is because of their Career's then that just is not a good enough reason for a divorce.
The man and woman having too different career's sums up probably about 90% of all married men and women. I will testify that my wife and I stay very busy with opposite things and there are times where I see her more one week than the next and we have to make time for each other.
The example that Randy and Paula is giving right now says to me that, "It is okay to divorce when two people are so busy with their career's and do not have time for each other and feel that it is better to divorce than carry on." (this is only what I am seeing). I know, WITHOUT a shadow of a doubt, that God DID NOT say, "okay, go ahead and divorce."
I am not intending for this to come across as judging them. I am not doing that in the least. I hurt for them. I hurt for people who, like myself, have listened, watched, and learned from them. I hurt for people who are going to be effected personally by this and who already has been effected. I hurt for the husbands and wive's who again, like most of us americans, have a marriage and two different career's, that are going to say, "If Randy and Paula can end their marriage then it must be okay for us to do it."
I know they have been in counseling and have been working on this it just still hurts...
God, be with that church and all people that know your two children.

Baby Sophia and the brothers!!!
After work yesterday I went to visit the Boemer's. If you remember on previous posts they had a little girl named Ava Sophia. While I was there yesterday I got to hold her for about an hour before she had to be feed. Of course she was asleep but she finally opened her eyes and looked at me. She is SO cute and SO small. I can't believe I was that small when I was born. I think I only weighed 3 more ounces than she did.
After holding her I played with Tres and Bryant...aka "The Brothers." They are growing fast! Bryant looked like a young man and Tres is doing a great job at playing the Big Brother to both of them.
It was good to visit with them and also see Grandmother Betty, who by the way cooked one MEAN meal last night. I took some home for the Bride but she was at a volleyball game and didn't eat it for dinner so I will be having it for lunch today...YUMMY!!!
The weekend has come upon us and I will be busy all day tomorrow and will maybe get some rest Sunday afternoon.
I forgot to tell you that we got our second driveway poured this past Tuesday. Today we will finally be able to drive on it. We have had one driveway but one of us would always have to park the other vehicle in the grass beside that one so we both could get out without having to move cars around. When they poured the driveway I also had them make me a small patio beside the deck so we could set up some chairs for another place to sit. Sort of bringing the indoors...out...It looks really good and though it may sound crazy I can't wait to drive on it this afternoon. And just for reference, if you plan on having concret poured it AIN'T cheap!!!

Quick Peek Weekend!!!
Went to football scrimmage after work for a few hours with the wife at her school.
Was woken up by bride at 12:30am Saturday morning alarming me to the fact that there were fire trucks and police in the road at the house across the street from us.
Back in bed by 12:50 but laid awake until 2:00.
Up again at 5:15am to go bike riding...when all was said and done I got 53 miles in. (total time it took 3 hrs. 40min.)
Came home worked in the yard some and enjoyed sitting on the couch to, not one but TWO thunderstorms, that passed through during the afternoon and evening.
Sunday went to church, got home and ate lunch, worked in the yard, went for another bike ride at 5:30...when all was said and done I got 33 miles in. (total time it took 2 hrs. 6min.)
Back home after the ride, showered and went to bed...THE END!!!
