This snake was in the backyard up against the house. I have confirmed that it is/was a rat snake but now he is a dead snake. Too close for comfort!

The weekend is here!
This week has been crazy. Heck, all of them are crazy! It is a crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, world! I am glad the weekend is here.
I have decided that I WILL get a ride in tomorrow morning. I NEED to ride! I might not pull a 30miler but I will go for 15. My waistline is telling me that I have not been on my bike for a while and it is right! I also enjoy to ride and I need to stop giving excuses as to why I can't go today, etc. With the weather going to be so nice I can't pass it up!
After the ride, maybe the family and I will find a nice park to go to and have lunch!
After church on Sunday we are heading to my parents so Corban can see his Mimi and Pawpaw!
Have a great weekend!

Hello...
blogger world!!!
I feel at times that I am not doing a good job at keeping you posted with what is going on but then I look back at the pictures I have posted and see that you are kept up to date to the best of my ability!
Here is a recap of things going on right now in the world of Corban:
-Corban is growing...and growing fast!
-He is on his second week of school.
-He is sleeping more at night and seems to be going longer between feedings.
-He got to see the easter bunny this past saturday.(aka...daddy)pics to come!
-He is smiling more
-He loves to look at fans and watch them turn as well as looking at lights.
-He loves to sit with Daddy and this makes Daddy happy. I know that he is growing fast so I cherish every bit of time.
-He does not like to be washed behind his ears or under his arms.
-He brings him mommy and daddy SO MUCH JOY!!!
Now to other things:
A few people from the city including our attorneys should be coming back from Washington this evening after their meeting with the Justice Department. Hopefully they have received an answer to if we can take office and if not then WHAT needs to be done from here? NO MORE GUESSING!!! Though I am not officially in Office, I am still conducting business as though I am and yes, without pay. Though pay would be nice!
Jennifer is glad to be back at school and developing a routine. Also, Jennifer is one of the BEST mommy's I know!!!
Other than these things it is the normal day to day stuff. Maintaining the house, cars, bills, bills, bills, did I mention bills?! God is Good, ALL THE TIME and I know without a shadow of doubt that we are blessed! Thank you Lord for supplying ALL of our needs!!!

Flowers...
School Days, School Days...
Okay, it's really Day Care but Monday started the first of "the rest of his life" for going to day care, preschool, school, etc.
Monday I was holding back tears as I was getting him ready. It is hard to believe that tomorrow he will be 7 weeks old.(young!)
He has been doing great at day care and I know that Jennifer is happy that he is in the next building so she can check up on him. I know I am glad.
It has been good to start a routine. If I am not mistaken I think I even heard Jennifer tell me sometime early this morning that he slept for 6 hours last night before waking up for his feeding. WOW!!! That is what I like. It seems school is wearing him out and forcing him to sleep longer during the night. Sounds great to me!
Enjoy the "First Week of Day Care" for Corban! The pics are in order from Monday-Thursday! He has no school tomorrow and both mom and dad have no work!

What is going on!
Life has been busy in Bomba Days.
Corban is growing and changing like crazy; as you can tell from the pics. He is such a joy and I couldn't imagine life without him. It is true that a NEW FOUND LOVE enters you when you become a parent. Every day is something new and amazing!
If you haven't heard by now, the Justice Department denied the city's request for approval of the election...AGAIN. This makes the 2nd time! The next move is to take a few people from the city and go before the J.D. in Washington to see what can be done and to see if they would consider for the 3rd time and possibly approve everything. Personally, I do not think they will approve it and even if they do, it will be under their terms which will require us to run another election anyway.
I am trying to decide what I want to do? Wait it out or sit down with a few people from the city and discuss other options?! I am praying about it too but I find myself more tired of this crap and ready to move on which leads me to wonder if I want to continue and if it's worth praying for...?
For other things going on in Bomba Days go to my wife's blog and read. No need in typing it twice!
