I copied the following from my Mother's blog. I thought it was good and wanted to share:
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE UNASHAMED
I am a part of the Fellowship of the Unashamed.
I have the Holy Spirit Power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made.
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure.
I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded.
I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.
My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear.
I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won't give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes.
And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear for "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.." (Romans 1:16)

What have I been up to?
As always things are going busy.
Chuch has been going really great. We have a full band now and a drummer that plays electric drums. They really are AWESOME!...and he is a great player.
God has been really showing me some things lately and has really been changing me. It's not always easy but it is for the better of course.
My birthday was September 19th. I am 28 years old now. I celebrated by going out to a few places to eat with different friends starting on Tuesday of last week and ended with buying me my birthday present yesterday with the money I received for my birthday. I went and bought two planters from a place in Thorsby. They are very nice and solid concrete, stained a rustic brown color. I have been working on the left side of my yard. It is coming together very nicely. Since we got the second driveway poured and a patio area, I wanted to really do something to that side. A little bit at a time. If you live close by you should come and see it. I should get some mums planted in the pots today so I will take a picture and post on the blog.
There was a wedding at the church this weekend so I spent Friday evening and Saturday there to besure everything ran smoothly. (F.Y.I...I am the wedding coordinator for the church and Jennifer helps me when she does not have volleyball...which is never....but I love her anyway!!!)It was a nice wedding and everything did run smoothly. Then I set the stage back up for Sunday and headed home.
The Calera Chamber of Commerce has really been keeping me busy. We have alot going on during these next few months so I will continue to stay busy. But "busy" is my middle name and I really wouldn't know what to do if I didn't stay busy.
If you live in the area and would like to volunteer your time for the Policeman/Fireman Appreciation Picnic that is coming up in October please contact me. It is for the families of the Calera police and fire ONLY but if you volunteer "you" will of course be able to eat the BBQ served, etc.
The Calera Christmas parade will be Dec. 1st. We also need volunteers for that. I know a couple of people helped with me last year and I hope you will be able to help again. Contact me if so. As a Chamber member the Christmas parade is one of the funtions that is my responsibility.
Our busy season at work is picking up. Alot of people use Seasoning during this Season and that is what we do best. So if I do not post as much that is why. When I leave here I do not normally get on the computer at home; 8 hours a day is enough for me.

Friday
I think I really like this "4 day" work week. Having Mondays off period is a good thing.
I'm hoping the weather will start cooling off some. I can't stand the heat much longer. I like it where the high is 75 and the low is 65...everyday!!!
This past weekend I got up Saturday morning to go for a bike ride. I walked out on the deck with my cup of coffee and there was a tree that had fallen in the back yard. A BIG tree. When it fell it crushed our storage shed. (I would have posted pictures but the wife had left the camera at school and I wasn't going to wait until she was able to get it and then clean up.) There is still some of the tree in the wooded part of the property but it will get all cleaned up in due time. As the saying goes, "You can't eat an elephant in a day."
I went bike riding after I went and purchased a new shed and after the ride I spent the rest of the day sawing away and dragging to the street.
An Update about riding: I will not be doing the MS ride in Memphis next weekend. The group I was going with changed to the ride taking place in Orange beach at the end of this month and I can't make that one. Along with short notice it is the end of the month and quarter here at work so I know it can't happen. Maybe next time.
I am going to do a 65 mile ride in the morning. We are meeting at 5:30am and then be on the road by 6am. I know, I know...CRAZY!!!!!!!! I do wonder why I do it at times while I am riding but afterwards it is all worth it and it helps me sleep good. (basicly because I am wore-out)
That's about it for now. It is 12:05 this friday afternoon. I am thinking about leaving work early....Hum???? Maybe by 1:30. I would like to cut the grass today and do some things outside and not wait until after I get off to do it.
Until again...

Monday Funny!!!
A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to
Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker
told the husband, "You can have her shipped home for $5,000, or you can
bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150." The man thought about it
and told him he would just have her shipped home.
The undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000 to
ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and
you would spend only $150?"
The man replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried
here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can't take
