Yesterday was Corban's first day of daycare. I dropped him off about 9:15 because he had a doctor's appointment first thing. When I picked him up his teacher said he did great except that he would not let her hold him. Which is weird because he loves for anyone to hold him. The reason she would hold him is because she was trying to feed him. The only thing I can think is that since she is a woman he thinks that he should be feeding from her because that is how he lays on mommy when he is eating. When I give him a bottle he has no problem eating. Hopefully he will get better.
He looked so tired yesterday afternoon when I got there. He was dozing off and when he saw me he just looked at me for a minute and then fell back to sleep. When we got home I feed him and then he went down for a nap.
This morning I dropped him off at 6:34 so he is going to have a L-O-N-G day. Of course there are things I wanted to tell his teacher but I forgot. I might just have to check on him during my lunch to see how he is doing!
On another note...Jennifer started her new job yesterday. She left the house about 6:30am to be there at 8am. After a long day, she made it home about 5:45pm. Needless to say ALL of us were more tired than normal and was in need of MUCH rest, but not before I cooked a good ole southern homestyle meal. Boneless Fried chicken, green peas and new potatoes. YUMMY! And the fried chicken was fried in a cast iron skillet that I have eaten many of a food out of when I was a young boy in Perry, FL. I got it from my Granny. I know for sure that the iron skillet is as old as I am if not a few years more so you know the food is tasting good when it comes out of the skillet!
